Obituary
OREGON - Judith Packard, age 78, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Oct. 26, 1943, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Evon and Hazel (Storlie) Keller.
Judy graduated from Deerfield High School in 1961. She worked as an executive assistant for State of Wisconsin, UW-Medical School and the Oakhill Correctional Institute, and as a dispatcher and administrative assistant for the Cheyenne County Sheriff Department and the Oregon Police Department.
Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed games and crossword puzzles. She loved music and dancing, flowers, and bowling. She was proud to have flown in a plane with her father as he was training to become a pilot. More than anything, Judy cherished spending time with her family, especially her brothers, her son, Mark, and her grandson, Kyle - her "Sweetpea." She was always very involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, always reading to them, playing games, cooking, and taking them swimming.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Peggy Packard, Lynda Whittle and Dee Packard; son, Mark Packard; brothers, Jim (Mary) Keller, Steve (Pam) Keller, Don (Missy) Keller and Wayne (Lisa) Keller; grandchildren, Kyle (Kim) Kuska, CJ Whittle and Robert Whittle; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Mark and Makayla Kuska. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at NORA’S TWO, 1843 US-12, Deerfield, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
