First memory of Uncle Jim: a chauffeured ride around the block of 2315 E. Dayton St with my cousins Ellen and Barb in the light blue convertible…Uncle Jim singing with the radio (in head voice—so amazing looking back), and when the indiscernible words of the “new songs” came over he’d say “I know the words to this one ‘ narenananairnairnair!’—air guitar before air guitar was cool…cheers!
