Obituary
OREGON / STOUGHTON - Elliot J. Rose, age 38, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully, in his sleep on Friday, May 13, 2022. He was born on Dec. 22, 1983, in Madison, the son of Rick Rose and Sarah (Sanger) Coon.
Elliot grew up in Oregon and attended Oregon High School. He was a hard worker! Always eager to learn new skills and try something new. Elliot was employed at Imperial Blades (Milwaukee Tools) where he was Lead Black Oxide Operator and was looking forward to the challenges in his new role. He was united in marriage to Catherine "Cathie" Peppler on Feb. 29, 2016.
Elliot was a kid at heart and was every child’s “favorite uncle.” He was so grateful to be a part of his stepchildren’s lives, Brent and Brianna. Elliot was a diehard Marvel Fan, from reading the comic books to watching the movies. He also loved playing video games, watching movies, riding his motorcycle, tubing on the Sugar River and playing Disc Golf. Elliot’s pride and joy were his 2 babies, the dogs, Rhodie and Arrow.
Elliot is survived by his wife, Cathie Rose; stepson, Brent Sufak; stepdaughter, Brianna Sufak; parents, Rick Rose and Sarah (Paul) Coon; two brothers, Alex (Andrea) Rose and Max Sanger; paternal grandmother, Marion Graser; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Maxine Sanger; paternal grandfather, Lyle Rose; and uncle, David Rose.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 9:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, June 4, 2022. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12 noon on Saturday. Following the service, a potluck will be held at KISER FIREMAN'S PARK, 245 Brook St., Oregon, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
