Obituary
Oregon - Stephanie M. Oanes, age 33, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was born on July 12, 1988, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Steve Oanes and Sue (Tofte) Oanes.
Stephanie graduated from Oregon High School, class of 2006. She served in the U.S. Army for eight and one-half years, serving both stateside and in Iraq. She participated in the Wounded Warrior Project activities and was a strong advocate for animals.
Stephanie is survived by her parents; her brother, T. J. Dowling; sister, Sara Lynn (Mike) Tolly; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Grace and Amlin Tofte; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Nellie Oanes.
A visitation will be held at Gunderson Oregon Funeral AND Cremation Care, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022.
