Tim, Jennifer, Logan and family - I'm so very sorry for your loss. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know Janice and Tim over the past several years by helping with landscape maintenence at their home in Middleton. It's always been a pleasure when they come out to talk about projects that need to be done, usually with slightly differring opinions between the two as to how necessary the work really is. I always leave with a smile on my face, and we usually end up doing it Janice's way. I have also learned that Janice and Tim are generous, charitable people. I recall a time when Janice had heard about a young mother in my neighborhood who had a medical emergency while jogging. Janice contacted me, knowing that I lived nearby, to inquire about donating to the family. Truly wonderful people. Janice will be missed... Brian

My wife, Mary, and I were the grateful recipients of some of Janice’s love, playfulness, adventuress spirit, humor, and loving care when we were fortunate enough to live close to the Hoods in condos on Lake Wisconsin. We have delightful memories of summer evenings sitting on lawn chairs, looking at the lake and consuming copious amounts of Two Buck Chuck from Trader Joe’s. Janice will be greatly missed by us but we are assured by some of her last words which were “I am going to see God.” Bill and Mary Murphy
