I guess it's true what they say, you never know how much someone really means to you until they're gone.... Aubrey was my cousin, right around my age, we were close and hung out whenever she was in town as kids... But as adults, we just didn't stay in touch or as close... She went out of her way to be at my baby shower, that meant SO much to me... And I had the same plan to be at her wedding.... And now she's gone... I wish she could've known how much her being there meant to me... How much she meant to me... I wish she would've gotten to meet my daughter at the wedding.... I'm so hurt and heart broken behind her loss.... But I saw her parent's at a family function today, and they are somehow managing to handle it.... So, I'm drawing off of their strength and will make it through the grief.... I love you cousin Aubrey!! And I'll miss you... But I will be there to tell you goodbye and lay you to rest....

I was Aubrey’s Field Instructor at UW-Madison, throughout her last year of grad school. She was a complete joy to have in class. Her presence lit up the room and she actively contributed to seminar; sharing her wisdom and wealth of experiences. While I cannot be there to celebrate Aubrey in person, I am sending my love and prayers to those who loved her.

Aubrey was a lovely young lady, we are sad that she was taken away so suddenly and much too soon. Our hearts are heavy, please know that we're thinking of you. Love and prayers of comfort to you all, Joan & Don Kaster
