I worked with Carla at the UW-Madison School of Nursing, oh, so many years ago. Life for us support staffers was never easy at the SON, but Carla was a shining star, and a bright spot in my day. She could always make me smile! Carla had a subtle way of "mentoring" younger colleagues, too. I'll always be grateful to Carla for lessons learned, at work and in life.
