MILWAUKEE / MADISON - Peggy Glaeser passed away peacefully at her home in Milwaukee on April 27, 2022. Born on Nov. 5, 1953, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Peggy was the daughter of Ann and Carl “Shorty” Glaeser. She will be missed by her companion of 32 years, Wiley Toston of Milwaukee; her brothers, Tom (Jodie), Tim, Pat and Mike; nieces, Jenna, Megan, Colleen and Gretchen; and nephews, Nick and Kyle.
Peggy was a graduate of St. Dennis Grade School and Madison LaFollette High School. She worked for Wisconsin Bell as her mother did and retired after 30 years with the CWA (Communication Workers of America). Spending time with her Mum (Ann) was a priority to her as they spoke daily by telephone (of course) and she would travel to see her when she could. She enjoyed her pets over the years, including her birds, Jake and Elwood. Her dog Rusty was by her side when she passed.
Peggy always remembered birthdays, special occasions and holidays, and all her cards to her brothers were signed with "YFS" (Your Favorite Sister), and "My Peggy" to her nieces, nephews and most everyone else.
