STOUGHTON - Tamara Sue Kuntz, age 63, of Stoughton, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born on Aug. 7, 1958, in Monroe, Wis., the daughter of William and Joyce (Seeman) Leopold.


Tamara graduated from Evansville High School in 1976 and from MATC receiving a medical laboratory technician degree.   She was united in marriage to Ralph Kuntz on Sept. 27, 1986.


Tamara was an avid reader. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and listening to music, her favorite being Elton John. She loved spending time with her family and friends-especially taking trips up north.


Tamara is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (David) Wentela and Christina (Nick Knuteson) Kuntz; mother, Joyce; sisters, Sandra (Mike) Stratz, Debra (Jerry) Natz and Laura (Gerard) Pehler; and stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William; and husband, Ralph.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy 51 N. @ Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Burial will be held in Lutheran South Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at VFW POST 328, 200 Veterans Road, Stoughton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, and also from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Tammy was an absolute joy to be around. I worked with her for the last ten or so years and she always had me laughing. There was a day we were together that we didn't have a good time. Her thoughtfulness and kindness to co-workers and friends was beyond measure. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and extend my condolences to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed!

Tammy was a great roommate and friend. Never had so much fun! Her smile could light up the room and her laugh was infectious.
