Obituary

MADISON - Stanley Cameron, age 79, of Madison, Wis., passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at UW-Hospital. He was born on March 8, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Reece and Grace (Brown) Cameron.


Stanley attended Manual Arts High School and graduated from Los Angeles Valley College. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing racquetball, singing, and listening to music. He loved watching all sporting events and was an avid basketball player throughout his youth. Stanley always took strides to further his education in the IT field. He valued his time spent with family and friends, and he was immensely proud to be a grandfather.


Stanley is survived by his brothers, Robert (Kim) Cameron and Reece Cameron; son, Jason Cameron; daughter, Marlene (James) Farley; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stan was a good friend and a fun person to play cards with, the first time I ever made a straight flush was against Stan, he hit the Ace high flush and took the loss very well. I will miss him.
