Perry, not only a cousin but a friend. He had a smile for everyone no matter who you were and a special chuckle that was truly his own. You were there whenever asked or needed. You’ll be missed, but never forgotten.

Pat and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss! So sad! He was such a loving and caring man -- such a BIG HEART for everyone! He coached me on golf one time - before a class reunion. I was NOT good, but he gave lots of encouragement. He will truly be missed by your family and all his classmates!

It was of great sorrow that we learned of the recent passing of Perry. Perry was a very unique man in many ways. It was always such a great pleasure to see him. He always gave everyone his beautiful "Irish" smile, with that twinkle in his eyes. We dearly loved and respected him. If you had the pleasure of meeting Perry, you soon knew that he loved life. And, he extended that sentiment to you in the kindness and love he showed everyone. May God grant him a high position in His Eternal Kingdom. Our deepest sympathies to Patricia and all the family. Our deepest sympathy to Pat and family. Perry and I have been friends for over 50 years. We have shared many, many experiences. I consider Perry a memory maker. Every time we were together, memories were made. From high school wrestling, lots of double dating, softball games, times on the golf course and lots of euchre games. Most of those memories included a beer or 2. My last memory of Perry, was in January, after we had lunch and a couple beers together. We were saying good bye and reflecting on life. He told me, he loved me, and I told him the same. I told him, Thanks for all the memories. It might have looked strange for 2 70 year old men to be hugging in the Golf Bowl parking lot, but it didn’t matter to us. That is my best memory of my friend. Miss you, Buddy, Terry Burkhardt
