I once had the pleasure of going flower shopping with Betty. She showed me what to look for in flowers as I had never purchased flowers for garden beds before. She was so patient with all of my questions, and I had the most amazing flower bed for my first summer in my new house. It was awesome. It would not have happened if Betty had not put her green thumb into the mix. I remember sitting on the back porch, drinking lemonade and just memorized by her beautiful back yard, especially once they had put in the fountain that was always leaking. Betty was an amazing woman with so much strength and beauty.

Dear family of Betty's, My heart breaks for your loss. Betty and I were a team for many years and I will always miss her so much. Loved sitting on her porch and hashing over all our trips together and how we were going to grow old together. Of course she was much older than I, LOL! She kept telling me I should move to Kettle Park Senior Living when the time came for her to move there after her diagnosis, but just wasn't quite ready. I loved my time spent with her when I'd visit her and in the beginning she always knew when I had a situation that needed to be discussed, even before I said anything, she could tell. Will always love you my friend. Keep a watch over us from above. Love to your family. Sincerely, Jan Bush

Betty was such a nice woman. I always enjoyed throwing horseshoes against her; we always had a great match, throwing ringers and six packs back to back. She won more often than not but it was always a great match. I went to high school with Randy and was so pleasantly surprised when I learned they were married; two people I liked so much, married to each other. Rest In Peace Betty, you and Randy can grow new gardens in heaven.
