Obituary

MERRIMAC - Linda Jean Fiene passed away at home on March 30, 2022, in Merrimac, Wisconsin.

Linda was born on April 21, 1951, to her parents, Betty Jean and Jack, in Canada. She was raised in Chicago and later lived in Florida, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Texas. She owned and operated her business, Olde Fashioned Cleaning Services, in Illinois for many years. She was also a proud member of the First United Methodist Church of San Benito in Texas.

Linda married Darrel Fiene in July of 1996 in Rock Grove, Illinois. The two shared over 25 beautiful years of marriage together. She enjoyed spending her time at Lake Wisconsin surrounded by family, friends, loved ones and neighbors. Linda cherished life’s simple pleasures: fishing off the dock, a cruise around the lake and stargazing on a summer night.  

First and foremost, Linda loved her friends and family. Linda had a tremendous ability to make every person she met feel like family. She will be remembered as someone who gave even when she had nothing left to give. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Darrel; her children, Kristy, Kim, Jennifer (Heyward), John (Jackie), Jason (Karen), and Jenny (Bob); and grandchildren, Kourtney (Drake), James, Helena, Caleb, Liam, Aaron, Jasmine and Jessica; and siblings, Lee (Julie) and Lisa (Joel).

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty Jean; her father, Jack; stepfather, Hank and her brother, Mark.

Family, friends and loved ones are invited to a visitation at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11am until 1pm in Lodi, Wisconsin. Memorial Service will be held at MERRIMAC UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 117 Church St., Merrimac, Wisconsin, at 1pm, Sunday, April 10, 2022, with Pastor Roxi Gnatzig presiding.

In honor of Linda’s favorite color, please consider wearing something purple.
