I am very sorry to hear of this. Sharon was my first supervisor at GTE, hired me from the street in 1988. I thought the world of her. I saw her at a retirement party perhaps 10 years ago or so, she was just as gracious, funny, and kind as ever. I was so very fortunate our life paths crossed. My deepest sympathy to her family.
