For Kim, Tamar and Bianca, I don’t know how to get in touch with you otherwise. My sympathy to you and your families. My memories go back over 50 years and I was always sorry that we lost touch. Just want you to know that I have forwarded the obituary to Dean in Florida and Lois in Texas. Germaine Hillmer

When I moved back to my childhood home in 2019, Sarah welcomed me to the neighborhood by leaving garden goodies at my door. Her raspberries were delicious and plentiful. I spent a good deal of time with Sarah in her garden and will always be grateful for that time

Sara was an incredible neighborhood mom. Her gardens were eclectic and ever changing. She would always tell you, You can do anything.

I worked with Sarah as a docent at Ten Chimneys, and did many tours with her, either as her shadow, or she as mine. She was a lovely, lively lady and it was always something I looked forward to when I saw her name paired with mine on the schedule. She is missed!

Aunt Sally taught me my first lesson in mathematics. She took me for a walk, and we passed by a fire hydrant. We continued on and saw the next one. She calmly said that is another one. This was my introduction to mathematical induction. Needless to say, every time I see a fire hydrant I think fondly of Aunt Sarah.
