STOUGHTON - Rebecca Ann (Berdal) Roeder, age 46, of Stoughton, Wis., formerly of Wausau, Wis., passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, surrounded by family.  Rebecca was born on July 30, 1975 (three minutes after her twin brother), to the late Dennis and Pamela (Ebben) Berdal.  Rebecca married Brian Lee Roeder on August 3, 1996. They were married 25 years.

Rebecca graduated from Wausau West High School in 1993 and attended Madison Area Technical College. Rebecca worked for Shopko and was employed by WPS Health Solutions for the past 20 years.

Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid NASCAR Race fan. In addition, she spent a lot of time at local asphalt racetracks cheering on the local drivers.  Rebecca also enjoyed spending time in Eagle River fishing with her parents, husband, and her sons. She always looked forward to her girls’ shopping trips every year during opening deer hunting weekend.  

She is survived by her husband, Brian of Stoughton; her children, Marcus, Mitchell (Sophia Sanchez), Miller and Meric Roeder; mother, Pam Berdal; mother-in-law, Susan (Kenneth) Berndt; brothers, Ryan (Connie) Berdal, Weston, Dennis (Eva) Berdal; sister-in-law, Connie (Konraith) Kais; nephews, Jacob (JJ) Berdal and Luke Heise; nieces, Justis, McKenna, Jamison and Presley Berdal and Shelby Heise; step- nephew, Trent Motley; step-niece, Alexis Jones; as well as many, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Dennis; father-in-law, Norvel Lee Roeder; and grandparents, Clifford and Katherine Ebben and Edward and June Berdal.

Services will be held ST. BERNARD PARISH, 2438 Atwood Ave., Madison, on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the start of the service on Thursday.
