We meet Maxine and Tom when we went to Magnolia Wesleyan Church in Santee, CA. They were the first people we meet and they encouraged us to be part of a ministry called Compassionate Cooks. We’re people we were sick , had surgery , a baby or just needed a hit meal. We took a meal to several families because of Maxine. She always had a smile on her face and encouraging others. When Yom and her moved to another state we lost touch until recently with connected again. Love you Maxine!!

So very sorry for your loss. Maxx was such a beautiful, sweet, funny, big-hearted lady. Her robust love of life and the Lord was truly inspiring. Wishing everyone who loved her fond memories, love & great peace.

Maxine is my friend of 50 years and i will miss her. we lived to far from each other to visit, but she was always a part of my life and in my heart. we some really great times and lots of fun and times of sorrow, but I am proud to say we were always friends and death can't take that away for I will see her again. Its not good bye, just see you later my friend! I loved her then and I love her now.

Although I only had a brief time with Maxine I feel like I knew her much longer. She was an amazing lady and had the most kind and generous heart. I was blessed and honored to be her hospice nurse and take care of her. She will be missed. Shine bright Maxine!! Devon, RN Marquardt Hospice
