Obituary

Oregon - Robert Andrew Masarik, age 70, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born on Aug. 25, 1951, in Cudahy, Wis., the son of Andrew and Maradean (Laughman) Masarik.


Robert was raised in Cudahy and graduated from Cudahy High School. He married Judy Swenson in April of 1981, in Milwaukee.


Robert was a good man, father, brother, friend, and an adoring grandfather. He was a family man who coached his kids in little league, and he loved animals. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and taking family vacations. He loved all Wisconsin sports, especially the Packers.


Robert is survived by his wife, Judy; three children, Amanda (Ben Mancheski) Masarik, Joel and Pat; grandchildren, Evie and Kai Mancheski; sister, Judith (George) Turner; brothers, Tom (Terry) Masarik and Mike (Laura) Masarik; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mathew (Nelson); and brother, Patrick Masarik.


A service will be held at PRASSER-KLECZKA FUNERAL HOME, 6080 S. 27th St., Milwaukee, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. A private burial will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery.

I knew Robert throughout elementary school, church and high school - we kept in touch when we could and when we did, it always felt like it was just yesterday. Robert saw to that. Such a charismatic persona...wonderful character...and a truly genuine being. Rest In Peace, Brother.

I am so Thankful that Bobby and I spoke via telephone on Jan 6 2022 about our Family's and Friends we have known for the last 60 plus years!!! And joked as we always do about "WHY" we were still here??? THANKS for that one last in-depth conversation Bobby, for Now you are at Total Peace, HOME and with ALL Family and Friends!
