Lovelyn Violet Braun

Naperville, Ill. / Middleton - Lovelyn Violet Braun, age 93, of Naperville, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Sunrise Assisted Home. She was born on Nov. 7, 1928, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Louis and Violet (Pierstorff) Meister.

Lovelyn grew up in the Middleton / Madison area and graduated from Middleton High School. She married Delbert F. Braun on June 24, 1950, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Middleton.

Prior to retirement, Lovelyn worked as a supervisor of production for Wrigley -Amurol for over 30 years.  She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Middleton. In her free time, Lovelyn enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, and the outdoors. She loved dogs and was a very talented seamstress.

Lovelyn is survived by her daughters, Debra L. (Joe) Wenk and Vicki L. Gregory; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Dave (Kathleen) Meister; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert; daughter, Cynthia Cole; grandsons, Tommy Cole and Thomas Teal; sisters, Ana May and Bonnie; and brothers, Eugene and Roger.

A graveside service will be held at Middleton Junction Cemetery, 8409 Isaac Drive, Middleton, at 2 p.m. on Friday March 25, 2022.
