Colleen and I became friends working at LaPetite. I worked at the daycare from 1993-2005. She was so uplifting, cheerful, caring, and always laughing and enjoying everything about working with her babies and toddlers. Her room was one most people would want to visit when they were on a break or lunch, and I recall many times being told we shouldn’t be just “hanging out” in their room! I can still hear her laugh when I see pictures of her. She was not only a friend but the caregiver of my first and only baby girl. I couldn’t have asked for better as she was the perfect person to give the advice and reassurance I needed being a first time mom, and gave Natalie more love and care than I could have ever asked for. I knew about her children, her deep love for her husband and her excitement to become a grandma for the first time is a memory I won’t forget! She was so happy when they moved out to the country so she could enjoy the wildlife I often saw in her Facebook posts. As the years have passed I know we didn’t connect as often as we “should” and for that I am so sad. I know she watched my daughter grow up into a young woman and was always so kind with her words about her. I hope that I can continue to watch her family grow and Tom will always be a “friend” I will hold in my prayers. I wish I was able to attend her celebration of life but her family and friends will all be in my thoughts. Thanks Coco, you’ve made me and my daughter better women because our lives were touched by you.❤️ Becky, Chris and Natalie Stanek

Our thoughts are prayers are with you Tom and family. It's been a long time since we've seen each other, but that doesn't mean that I haven't thought about you and CoCo. Don't be afraid to contact me if you would like. Jim Fahl
