MADISON - Mary A. Glynn, age 96, of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on June 10, 1925, in Madison, the daughter of Edward and Ann (Johnson) Knope.

Mary graduated from Madison East High School in 1942 and married George Glynn on Dec. 7, 1946. She worked for Rennebohm/Walgreens prior to retirement. She and George were active with the Zor Shrine Arab Patrol and she was a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Mary enjoyed her flower garden and various other activities, but most of all, enjoyed time spent with family.

Mary is survived by her son, Edward (Janice) Glynn; daughter, Beverly Birdsall; grandsons, Ryan and Kevin (Johnna); granddaughter, Elizabeth (Jess); and great-grandchildren, Kora, Sydney, Lucus, Matthew, Martin and Gunnar. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and son-in-law, Daniel Birdsall.

Carol and Steven Skolaski

Carol (Coughlin) Skolaski and Steven Skolaski remember Mary at Rennebohm Drug Store Warehouse. Carol was 16 and worked closely with Mary - who was so kind to Carol at that young age. I worked in the Commissary and at 16 and Mary much to her credit gave encouragement to Carol in her work and also to date this young fellow (Steven) and being married this year 51 years- Marys wisdom has shown through. Our Prays for Mary's family and May God be with her.

I worked with Mary at the Rennebohm whse and then at the Walgreens whse for many years. She was always fun to work with and to talk with. RIP Mary.
