BLUE MOUNDS - Kareen M. Stram, age 86, of Blue Mounds, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Upland Hills Health Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Elmer Rundblad and Eileen Tobin.
Kareen graduated from All Girls Catholic in Chicago. She married Lee Stram on February 22 in the 1960s in Las Vegas. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, American Legion and Red Hat Society in Grass Valley, Calif.
Kareen retired when she came to Blue Mounds, Wis. She enjoyed crafting, camping, fishing, gardening, woodworking and playing horseshoes.
Kareen is survived by her daughter, Colleen Stram (William Rhodes); son, Kevin Stram; three grandchildren, Dylan (Elizabeth) Detmer, Logan Detmer and Wyatt Detmer; brother, Gerald Rundblad; and sisters-in-law, Jeanette Vivier, Nancy Brekke and Eloise Stram; and all the family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; her parents; and brother, Don Rundblad.
