When we lived on Melby Dr , we lived 4 houses down from Jons friend Bubbles and smoky jon often pulled into our driveway with his white van thinking he was at Bubbles house. Little did I know at the time that a living legend was in my presence...until I got older and came to appreciate his food at the restaurant. He sang Amazing Grace at Bubbles funeral in 2011, not only could the man cook but he sure could sing ! RIP smoky jon

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Our family grew up across the street from Jon way back when, fond memories.

I have known Smoky for 20 years. We have had many a dinner at Smoky Jon's and have a bottle of his sauce in our fridge at all times. Thanks, Smoky!
