Obituary
Barneveld - Terry M. Glover, age 81, of Barneveld, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Feb. 8, 1940, in Townley, Ala., the son of Troy Glover and Frances (Boshell) Glover. Terry graduated from Brush High School in 1959. He married Carolyn Privett on June 21, 1959, in Colorado.
Prior to retirement, Terry worked as a foreman in the natural gas industry. In his free time, he loved to fish, especially while going on trips with his wife, Carolyn. Together, they enjoyed camping and traveling. Terry would read anything and loved it, including Webster’s Dictionary and World Book Encyclopedia A to Z. He even brushed up on his bird watching books. He also loved animals, especially all the dogs he and Carolyn had throughout their lives. He enjoyed cooking and everything he made tasted great, especially his homemade southern biscuits and gravy. Terry loved to tell stories and was particularly good at it. He was a very positive person who saw the best in people.
Dad, we are going to miss your jokes and stories. “Here’s lookin’ up your old address, kid.” Thanks for loving us big.
Terry is survived by his wife, Carolyn; three daughters, Lisa (Lonny) Moyer of Barneveld, Terri Lynn Glover of Phoenix, Ariz., and Barbara (Zane) DeWeese of Coalville, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly; and his sister, Barbara (Robert) Martindale of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Michael Scott Glover.
