SUN PRAIRIE - Mary Margaret Sanchez, age 78, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022. She was born on Aug. 11, 1943, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Herman and Hazel (Connolly) Anthony.
Mary graduated from Edgewood High School in Madison. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, nature, going for walks and a was a die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. She enjoyed word searches and playing Bingo with her friends.
Mary is survived by her children, Abby Livingston, Carmen Sanchez, Charles Walker and Amber Schneider; twelve grandchildren, Paul (Niki Riepl) Kerr, Stephani (Kevin) Selvik, Joshua Livingston, Chloe Leigh Schwartzapfel, Jay Schwartzapfel, Cephanie Sanchez, Leevi Walker, Stephen Walker, Brandon Rogers, Aaliyah Rogers, Makayla Rogers and Elroy Schneider; sisters, Elaine (Paul) Karls and Marie Raymond; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Hazel; and brothers, Robert and Eugene.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022.
