One of the many John's in the Stauffacher family. Have some awesome memories of Uncle John. Rest in peace, and yes the Packers lost on Saturday. I am sure you were watching and pulling for the 49ers.

Greg, My sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Your father touched so many lives in the classroom as a teacher and on the fields and courts of the teams he coached. He gave us so many memories that will stay with us forever. He was a good man, rest in peace Coach. Scot Deering

Dear Catherine and Family - please accept my heartfelt sympathy. John was on the faculty of Queen of Apostles Seminary when I was a student there. Lots of memories! You and John are being remembered in my Masses and other prayers. In sympathy, Father Ray Dischler

Catherine and Family - "Coach" was always there with a smile . He was one of the kindest teachers and coaches a kid could have. Always positive but always challenging you to reach a little further. He is mentioned a lot by the QAS '65 class. Rest in peace - Coach! Mike Sweeney

To the Stauffacher family, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you, friends, and love ones. Coach Stauffacher was an instrumental person in my life during my high school years at Queen of Apostles as my coach on and off of the basketball court. A part of who I am today is because of the lasting influence that coach Stauffacher had on my life, not only as an athlete but as a person. Thanks Coach, you were the best of the best and your memory will live on. Chuck Clark
