MADISON - Lonnie J. Polkinghorn, age 58, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. He was born on May 28, 1963, in Madison, the son of Gerald and Betty (Moyer) Polkinghorn.
Lonnie graduated from LaFollette High School and worked as a rough framer where he enjoyed talking about his building accomplishments.
Lonnie loved to hunt, fish and cook in his free time. He loved his cat, Buddy and spending time with his good friend, Dave.
Lonnie is survived by father, Gerald; sister, Nancy Franke; son, Kyle Fracaro; friend, Dave Nelson; nephews, Austin Sorum and Brian Hamilton; and aunt, Lorraine Adams. He was preceded in death by mother, Betty; and brother, Dale Polkinghorn.
A funeral service will be held at NEW LIFE CHURCH, 7564 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 12 noon on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
