I am sad to hear this news. I worked with Karine on the Radio Active! old-time radio show group she directed. Really appreciate the opportunities she provided me, and her warm sense of humor. Sympathies to all of her family and friends. Treasure the memories. -Robert T.

Both Joe and I enjoyed Karine's talent while performing and organizing the RadioActive group. My favorite memory is of the group performing many years ago at St. Mary's Hospital for their employees I believe. They read a vintage radio script while in 1940's era costumes - what a treat! We lost contact with her once she moved and the local coffee shop closed. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Joe & Mary Murphy

Karine and I had so much fun producing those radio scripts. Lots of laughs when just the two of us got together for a planning meeting. My how she will be missed. I have a CD with some 200 scripts on it. If any Radio Active folks would like a copy, let me know. Contact me through my Facebook page. I live in Arizona now. Karine, rest in paradise. To all her family and friends, may warm memories of her humor and warmth help provide comfort and solace. Ted Meland

I was deeply saddened to learn of Karine's death. It was a joy working with her on Radio Active projects. She was a real trooper: very enthusiastic and thorough in her approach to directing and producing. Beyond that, she was a terrific person -- upbeat and fun to chat with. I will miss her.
