Todd R. Silbaugh

STOUGHTON- Todd Ray Silbaugh, age 57, of Stoughton, passed away on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Madison. He was born on Sept. 27, 1964, in Stoughton, the son of Dean and Sharon (Felio) Silbaugh.

Todd “Rudy” graduated from Stoughton High School in 1983 and played football, basketball and baseball. He made friends with everyone in school. He and Amy met a week after she turned 21 at Sonny’s Bar in Stoughton and they were later married on June 8, 1996, in Stoughton. Todd and Amy had three daughters together all of whom he coached during their participation on softball, basketball and soccer teams. He worked at HJ Pertzborn Plumbing and Fire as a fire protection designer. Todd enjoyed fishing, scratch offs, going to flee markets and spending time with his family and friends. He supervised car repairs to make sure the “unpaid help” did it correctly. Todd loved Packers and Badgers football. His favorite title was “Papa T” to his grandson, Hoyt, and was excited to meet his second grandson who will be arriving in February. Todd was a friend to everyone he met, was quick with a joke, put everyone else before himself and was always happy.

Todd is survived by his parents; wife, Amy; three daughters, Kassidy (Casey Ace), Kennedy (Daniel Wingert) and Chloe (Ben Krage- Suter) Silbaugh; grandson, Hoyt Suter; two brothers, Jeff (Mary Ellen) Silbaugh and Warren (Holly) Silbaugh; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Shawn Silbaugh.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy. 51 N. @ Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Monday Jan. 10, 2022. Burial will follow at Lutheran South Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
