Connie came to St. Bernard to fulfill her course in the Lay Deaconate. She was one of the first women to attain this role in the Catholic Church. We are proud that she served the people of St. Bernard especially looking after those in the hospital and nursing homes. As Pastoral Associate, she also started the prayer shawl ministry and prayer blankets the newly baptized. There are many memories that will be shared at St. Bernard for years to come.

Dear loved ones of Connie - please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Connie was very helpful to me in planning several funerals. For this I will always be prayerfully grateful. Connie and you are being remembered in my Masses and other prayers. Father Ray Dischler
