Dear Aunt Marge and Family, I am so sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Wendall and I send my sincerest condolences. I remember all the wonderful times I spent on your farm with Uncle Wendall milking the cows and driving the tracker during harvest time, which I caused a little accident one time...oops sorry;( Also, I have not forgot about your fabulous cooking and the delicious red raspberries by the front of the house. I am grateful to have had Uncle Wendall, you and your family enriched my life. God Bless You All, Leota

Wendall and his family lived next door to my grandparents for many years, and my family, of John and Jeanne Barger, lived just a mile away, so we knew the Christensens very well. My siblings and I went to school with the Christensen kids, and I was good friends with Wendall’s daughter, Dawn. Wendall was such a kind and caring man. Even later in years, it was always a pleasure to talk to him and Marge should I run into them when they happened to be out and about in Oregon. They remained good friends with my parents throughout the years. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Heaven gained a great man.

To the family of Wendall Christensen. My deepest sympathies. Wendall was just a incredibly nice soft spoken man. I don't know anybody that could say a negative word about him. I am glad I just had the good fortune to talk to him 2 weeks ago at a get together at Wayne and Dee's home. Share your family memories often. I hope it brings you some comfort knowing he was liked by so many others. Jim Snow
