Obituary
LODI- Roy R. Hermes, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on September 21, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Reinhold and Virginia (Berardi) Hermes.
Roy worked lumber and hardware most his life and was employed with Koltes Do-It Center in Lodi until retiring.
Roy was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing and his trips to Canada. He was a diehard Cubs and Bears fan and could enter any room and befriend everyone by starting conversations with strangers and making them feel like he knew them all their life. Roy always was one to tell a good joke and enjoy a good laugh.
Roy is survived by the love of his life, Linda Warner; his best friend, Ty (Lynn) Bauler; and his three brothers, Robert, Richard, Leslie Hermes.
In honoring Roy's wishes, there will be no services.
