MIDDLETON - Cynthia D. Thompson, age 77, of Middleton, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at Heritage Middleton. She was born on Sept. 16, 1944, in Strawberry Meadows, Calif., the daughter of Clifford and Esther (Easton) Cullings.
Cindy hailed from the mountains of California and loved the great outdoors. Mountain views, red wine, and good books were among her favorite things. Cindy was a master quilter and loved sharing her warm talents with her family and friends. She was a strong, independent woman, who was fiercely loyal and loving, with a penchant for rescuing only the ugliest of dogs and cats. Cindy loved her annual adventures to explore the bustling cities and calm beaches of Asia with her grandchildren.
Cynthia is survived by her two sons, Mark (Andrea) Thompson and Phillip (Diana Grantham) Thompson; daughter, Stephanie (Greg) Thompson Dahlqvist; two granddaughters, Sierra Thompson and Hannah Rocheleau; two grandsons, Jacob Thompson and Ethan Rocheleau; and brother, Clifford Cullings, Jr.
Memorials may be gifted in Cynthia’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association Foundation Wisconsin Chapter.
