Linda L. Parkhurst

I enjoyed visiting Linda in Phoenix and Chula Vista.

I worked with LInda at the Wonder Bar. I was hired as the salad person and then she trained me to be her back up cook. She was an amazing chief, JT Walen argued that she was only a chief when she was making the soup but he was wrong. She insisted on the highest standards for everything from the steaks to the how the kitchen was cleaned. She didn't want the kitchen air condisioned because she felt the food would suffer from it. She was an amazing teacher and I will remember her always. Joyce Rader (Sills) Wonder Bar 1978-1979
