CARPENTERSVILLE, IL - Elbert Lee Taylor II, age 44, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born on August 16, 1977, in Elgin, IL, the son of James Taylor Sr. and Guadalupe Morales. Elbert was their first child to graduate from high school. He graduated from Jacobs High School in Algonquin, IL., in 1995.
Elbert was a skilled mechanic and welder and made welding his career. He like spending time tinkering with engines and working on cars and loved Nascar and rock bands. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and was always an animal lover. Elbert was known for enjoying life and having a good time.
Elbert is survived by his daughter, Kyla Shaye Taylor; stepson, Blayze Oefelein; parents; four brothers, James (Melissa) Taylor Jr., Robert Taylor, Richard Taylor, Randall (Karen) Taylor; two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Linda (Patrick) Clifford; nieces and nephews, Kevin, David, Alexis, Sierra, Logan, Breanna, Natalie, Adam, Zoey and Kaylee; and great-nieces and nephews, Braelynn, Aayden, Ryder and Leonora.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Elbert was a close dear friend of mine. In fact I called him my brother!! Elbert has a heart of pure gold. He always has. He spent his last two years of life with his fiance Tiffany and kids. I have never seen him so extremely HAPPY in my whole life. I've known Elbert since I was 12 years old. Growing up in the same area. As well as going to the same high school. He has many, many friends and will be forever loved and cherished in ALL of our hearts forever!! Rest My Friend. As we said to eachother often... "God Is Good" Berto yelled "EVERYDAY!!" As I was driving away from their home. I Love You Bro!! ~Sis♡

I'm so sorry for Everyones loss. One of Gods mysteries. A life lost way to soon. He had so many amazing plans for his life with Tiffani and Friends. He would not want any tears falling. Just Breathe and Smile he'd say. His faith in God was as strong as his hugs. Just irreplaceable.

Rest Easy Elbert, You will be missed but never forgotten. You have been in my life since you were 9, so 35 years. You were always a great uncle to my sons Kevin & David & a great babysitter back in the day. I will always remember that you made thee best box cake mix ever, better than any bakery. You were a good cook all around & as you would say your salsa "was on point". You helped anyone when they needed it & for that, I will forever be grateful. You are gone way to soon. Watch over your daughter Kyla! Love you Eggbert!! Fly high, My condolences go out to your whole family during this time. My thoughts are with you all!
