We would like to send our condolences and sympathy to the Lasee family in the loss of your father and grandfather. We met Don and the family when they lived in Prentice and spent a lot of weekends at the trailer there. Followed The Prentice Ramblers for many years. Don's music and voice were just wonderful. We do have a couple of his recordings, which we always have cherished. Gene was blessed some years back with being able to play with him at a family reunion. We speak of him often, a wonderful man. The world certainly was a better place with him in it. He blessed many people with his musical talent. May God Bless you all, and may Don rest in peace in his Savior's arms. Gene & Mary Felix

Sending my condolences and virtual hugs to Aunt Kendra and all of their children. Wish I could have attended the services. Uncle Donnie will be greatly missed! I am sure my grandparents (Babe and Dotsie) greeted him with open arms in heaven.

Always enjoyed Don and Buck playing guitar and singing at Maple Fest at the MacKenzie Center. Don wrote the Maple Sugar Song for the Friends of MacKenzie. Enjoyed the conversations we had. Condolences to Kendra and family.
