Charles James "CJ" Cotter

PARDEVILLE - "CJ" Cotter, age 28, of Pardeeville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 2, 2021. CJ will always be remembered for his ability to make friends with whomever he met, his exuberant and good-natured personality, and how he poured himself into helping others through struggles. CJ loved listening to music, fishing, bowling, golfing, playing pool, and target shooting. He enjoyed spending time in nature with his friends and loved camping and travel adventures with his family. He was his own person, not one to be contained by traditional social norms. CJ is survived by his parents, Matthew (Connie Wilhelmson), and Dawn (Rocca) Cotter; his sister, Brittney (Zachary Swimm) Cotter; his brother, Samuel Zach; grandfather, James Wilhelmson; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Alice Rocca, Charles and Barbara Cotter, and Lois Wilhelmson. CJ would want a cheerful atmosphere, so we would encourage everyone to dress casually and comfortably. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. PRATRICK CHURCH, 521 Fair St, Lodi, at 11:30 am on Friday December 10, 2021, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Baker presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 South Main Street, Lodi, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021, and also on Friday at church from 10:00 am until the time of the mass.
