Obituary
STOUGHTON - Mary C. (Fahey) Maul, age 92, of Stoughton, Wis., passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 29, 1929, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Joseph and Lucile (Whalen) Fahey.
Mary attended Madison Business College. She worked at Dean Clinic, East Madison Clinic and Fahey Hardware & Dorn Hardware. She enjoyed volunteering at Stoughton Library.
Mary was united in marriage to Marion B. Maul on July 18, 1964. She was a very kind, caring person who was beloved by her friends and family.
Mary is survived by her brother, Louis Fahey; sisters, Margaret Zimmerman and Virginia (George) Nielsen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; parents-in-law; brothers, Donald Fahey and Robert Fahey; brothers-in-law, Art Zimmerman, Joe Maul and Wilbur Maul; and sisters-in-law, Irene Fahey, Mary A. Fahey and Mary G. Fahey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Oregon.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for their wonderful care and support given to Mary and her family.

So sorry for your loss. I worked and Learned from Mary starting in Aug of 1989 until she retired at Dorn Hardware Oregon office. She was such a lovely kind lady. I am so happy I got to know her, I still refer to her notes we took while she told me all the workings of the hardware bookkeeping. Lovely Lady you will be missed.

It was such a pleasure to work with Mary at Dorn Hardware. One of my memories of her was when she couldn’t find a shortage in her bookkeeping she would go deep in thought and tap her pencil on the desk. We have lost a lovely lady. My sympathy to her family. Judi Anderson
