Larry Lee Anderson

MIDDLETON - Larry Lee Anderson, 83, of Middleton, Wis., passed away at home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was born on January 1, 1942, in Richland Center, Wis., to LaVaugn and Vergie Anderson. Larry graduated from Middleton High School and enjoyed a lengthy career in machine learning and computer programming. In 1962, he married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie, and together they raised four children.

Larry was a dedicated conservationist, passionate about maintaining and managing the family farm in Yuba, Wis. Often seen on the trusty, old 1950s Ford tractor, he enjoyed mowing the fields and would sometimes stir up a bit of mischief. He worked tirelessly to honor his parents by ensuring the farm was well-maintained so that it could be enjoyed by future generations of his extended family.

Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bonnie Anderson; his children, Connie (Dennis) Huisman and Keith (Jennifer) Anderson; seven grandchildren, Derrik, Taylor, Sarah, Forrest, Lee, Noah, and Phoebe; and one great-grandchild, Olive. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ann (Pete) Raemisch. He was preceded in death by his children, Jeff and Michelle; his parents, LaVaughn and Vergie; his sister, Sherry (Sid); and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Raemisch.

Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who frequently traveled any distance to attend his grandkids' sporting and school events and to celebrate life achievements with extended family members.

The family would like to acknowledge the professionalism, care, and kindness provided by Agrace Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.
