Dawn Alora Bowes

MADISON - Dawn Alora Bowes, age 60, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare, after a long-term illness. She was born on April 9, 1961, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Donald and Karen (MacMiller) Bowes. Dawn loved her family and was very proud of her nieces and nephews and especially her grandchildren, Forest and baby Runa. Dawn is survived by her son, Eric Steinhofer; two daughters, Nikki (Kevin) Bowes-Steinhofer and Jennifer Bowes-Steinhofer; parents, Donald and Karen; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Dena (Scott) Cass and Sherri Bowes; brother, Donald Bowes; nieces, Kennedy, Alyssa and Kristen; and nephew, Kyle. She was preceded in death by former husband, Randie Steinhofer; and her grandparents on both sides. We want to thank Agrace HospiceCare for the excellent caring of Dawn and our family. A special thank you to Dawn’s nurse, Kathy, for her gentle and caring way she gave Dawn. Dawn went through life with determination to fight back all the challenges life threw her way. Dawn’s greatest wish was to once again join the love of her life, Randie. So snuggle in Dawn and forever rest in peace within the folds of his arms. You were loved then, loved now and forever, never to be forgotten and missed by all. For those who wish to say their final goodbyes, Dawn will be laid to rest next to her husband, Randie, at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, surrounded by her family.
