Mark L Yelk

CROSS PLAINS - Mark L. Yelk, age 62, of Cross Plains, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Sept. 4, 1959, in Madison, Wis., the son of Leonard and Cecilia (Brings) Yelk. Mark graduated high school from Holy Name Seminary and attended the UW-Madison. He worked as a phlebotomist at UW Hospital for many years. In recent years, he was an event specialist for It’s Your Party. Mark was active in Boy Scouts most of his life and worked at Boy Scout camps during the summers for many years. Mark is survived by his sisters, Carolyn (Dennis) Meyer and Ellen Yelk (Brian Amble); and brother, Paul Francis Yelk. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn; and his parents.
