MADISON - Frank T. Nyumah, age 47, of Madison, Wis., passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021. He was born on July 25, 1974, in Harbel, Libera, the son of Lelon and Nancy Nyumah.
Frank graduated from high school in Liberia and attended college at MATC in Madison. He married Tenneh Soko on May 31, 2011, in Madison. Frank was a hard worker and was employed as a video monitor for UW-Hospital for many years. He was a member of the Liberian Association of Wisconsin.
Frank was very smart, outgoing and friendly, but was also a private individual. His kind spirit would light up a room when he walked in. Frank enjoyed being in nature. He loved bike riding, playing soccer and going to the gym. He loved his children beyond measure and cherished family time, especially their family vacations. Frank also enjoyed cooking, cleaning and organizing.
Frank is survived by his wife, Tenneh; sons, Fransaah Nyumah and Josiah Nyumah; daughters, Fransiah Nyumah and Nancyline Nyumah; mother, Nancy Nyumah; brother, John Saah Nyumah; sister, Amie K. Nyumah; nephew, Hoffman Wright; in-laws, Kervin and Famatta Soko and two cousins, Helena (Floyd Anderson) Flampor and Cecilia Hallie. He was preceded in death by his father, Lelon Nyumah.
A funeral service will be held at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2951 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. Friends and family who wish to view services via LIVE STREAM may visit Frank’s obituary page at www.gundersonfh.com and click on the Live Webcast link at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022.

I went through orientation at UW with Frank, we've always been linked that way. I have enjoyed his friendly, outgoing nature. I will miss our conversations. My condolences to his family, whom he loved so much.

We took a break to eat chicken wings in the palliative lounge the last time Frank worked on my shift. We laughed so hard I had no idea that would be the last day seeing my brother. I will miss the energy he had - even when it was 3am and I was exhausted he would say "get up, you didn't fly from Africa to sit around lol". Rest eternally bro.

I can't believe I am sharing a memory of you. You were such a nice down to earth, loving and compassionate person. I'll will forever be grateful when you the kids drove from Madison all the way to Canada just to see me after so many years. It's very painful that you left so young, but the hope God has given us of a resurrection is what will keep me going. I will you my dear brother! ♥ you
