Nancy J Cooper

BLUE MOUNDS - Nancy Joan Cooper, age 81, of Blue Mounds, passed away on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on May 10, 1940, in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Maurice and Mildred (Hodges) Jones. Nancy graduated from Peoria High School and attended San Diego State University Adult School. She married Thomas Cooper in 1976. Nancy worked as a banker for M&I Bank, retiring in 2002. She loved to make sequin calendars and bake. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Aida Simental; two grandsons, Thomas Villa Rodriguez and Jeremiah Villa Rodriguez; granddaughter, Heather Marie Cooper; nephews, Kenneth Conner and Rick Conner; and great-niece, Kristina Conner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Mildred Jones; son, Ronald J. Cooper; husband, Thomas L. Cooper; and sister, Norma J. Conner. At Nancy's request, no services will be held.
