Bob was well liked by all who knew him. He was a giver not a taker. He inspired his fellow veterans to be all they could be. He never said a cross word about anyone. He led by example, quietly but with purpose. He will be missed. Gib Halverson

Bob was an optimistic, fun person to be around. I did many running events and training runs with him. He and I ran the Arboretum together up until he was in his mid-seventies. I recall his generosity and was very impressed with the Vet Center milieu. He will be greatly missed by so many. A friend, David Braithwaite. Jean also sends her sympathy best regards to the family

I met Bob about 8 years ago in an MSCR yoga class at Trinity Lutheran Church, later at Midvale Lutheran Church and most recently over the last 3 years at Fitchburg Senior Center. I wasn't aware of his most outstanding life. I am not surprised though and he was always kind, nice, funny, & friendly in class. I, along with others from our classes, will miss his smiling face and upbeat conversations about 'whatever'. I'm very grateful for the time that I have known him and I'm sure he will live on in many of his friends from near & far. So sad but very happy I got to know him for a short period of his lasting years. Georgia Ascher.

Bob was a force of nature, with a wonderful laugh and such a positive way of looking at life. Our Feustel family was blessed to have Sunday brunch with Bob and Deb and later Kevin almost every week back in the 80s and 90s before we moved to Colorado in 1995. His love of life spilled over to everyone whose life he touched. I will miss him.
