Joan Roberts

LODI - Joan P. Roberts, age 80, of Lodi, peacefully passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. She was born on Jan. 4, 1941, in Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of the late James and Martha (Sweeney) Parsons. Joan graduated from Cornerbrook High School in Newfoundland in 1959. She was employed with JC Penny in Shawano as a manager until retiring. Joan enjoyed traveling internationally and throughout the U.S., gardening, and attending and listening to live bands at different venues, but what she loved most was being a grandma and the times she spent with her family She is survived by her son, David (Debbie) Bingham; three grandchildren, Alyssa Bingham, Rebecca Bingham and Hailey Bingham; sister-in-law, Esther Parsons; nephew, James Parsons; and special friends, Joany Binder and Margarie Engel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven; and brother, William Parsons. In keeping with Joan's wishes, there will be no formal services but she will be honored with special memories and thoughts by those closest to her.
