Mary R. Howe

MADISON - Mary R. Howe, age 70, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021. She was born on Feb. 2, 1951, in Portage, Wis., the daughter of Emmet and Evelyn (Thorpe) Howe. Mary grew up in (Howeville) Wyocena with her many siblings. She spent the majority of her adult life on the northside of Madison. Mary’s sweet soul connected with all she came in contact with. She enjoyed conversations and will be remembered for treating everyone with kindness. Mary is survived by her daughter, Camellia (Spencer) Lowrey; two sons, Jessie Howe and Robert Howe; three grandchildren, Jermaine Jr., Jayde and Kahliana; and a great-grandchild, Laila Mary. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, with a luncheon to follow.
