Obituary
BROOKLYN - Armin J. Peterson, age 48, of Brooklyn, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021. He was born on Jan. 23, 1973, in Ames, Mich., the son of William Peterson and Willow Ealy. He married the love of his life and best friend, Sarah Gunn, in Maui, Hawaii, on April 7, 2005.
Armin served his country in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for six years, including a tour of duty in the Iraq War before his honorable discharge. He was a quiet man with a fun, dry sense of humor. Armin was a master mechanic and a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and would do so for anyone, anywhere and at any time. He enjoyed working in the yard, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, going to car shows and watching car races, all with his Sarah.
Armin is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; mother, Willow Ealy; brother, Eric; sister, Jayne; father, Bill Peterson; father and mother-in-law, Dan and Mary Kay Gunn; brother-in-law, Kurt (Kim) Gunn; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Armin’s life will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.

Armin and I hung out a lot growing up in Madison. We had a really rad group of guys that rode BMX together, Jeff B, Brian M, and Nate E, we tore up Madison on our bikes and his mom was cool enough to let us build a legit quarter-pipe BMX ramp in her back yard. From my family to yours we send our deepest condolences.

Have many great memories BMX biking, building a 1/4 pipe in his Mom's backyard and cruising around in his Pontiac Firebird. Armin was good dude!! Very sorry for your loss!
