As I reflect on Mike's life. I recognize the need to be thankful. Mike spent 11 years working along side my dad at the family business. During that time he was instrumental in construction of one of the biggest projects the company. Mike's knowledge and compassion was so valuable to all of us who worked at the shop. Personally, I received valuable guidance from Mike during my teen years. Memories from those experiences and recent priceless time together, will be cherished forever.

I'm sharing a picture of a young Mike from his years working on the construction of a replica of a 16th dutch merchant ship. Mike headed up this project. Mike shared his talents with many of the employees that took part in the construction. My dad truly appreciated Mike's presence and trusted him fully in seeing this project through. I personally will be additionally thankful for the guidance Mike provided me as a teenager and young man. Mike's insight and ability to express thoughts in words was priceless. I will cherish those memories along with recent experiences together always. Special thoughts of comfort to Mike's family and friends

My deepest condolences to the family. Mike and Bill are my eternal Older brothers. I used to have a really stocked closet in my mid teens because I would get all the hand me downs from Bill and Mike. It made me into a bit of a “fashion plate” for a number of years. I remember being quite distressed when the clothes didn’t come any more. I also remember Mike and Bill telling myself and Richard about the “Wolfa” that lived in the eaves of the attic. I was never sure if that was solely for our “benefit “ or had some root in a young boys life for them. Mike and Bill were always will to beat the pants off of their younger cousins at bumper pool in the basement, especially me who was/is awful. To me Bill and Mike always had it “together” and were pathfinders in the family. Mike especially had a twinkle in his eye with Al’s humor. It was always fun to have a laugh with him. He has two wonderful children and I know he is always proud of them. Please accept my prayers and best wishes. Charles Manley
