Ralph "Dick" Layman

My sincere condolences to Dick's family. I enjoyed singing with him in the Madison Männerchor and worked with him closely during our 150th celebration in 2002. (I still have the special stein he designed). In later years the Männerchor thoroughly enjoyed the concerts and parties he organized and paid for at Oakwood. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Dick. Dick you are such fun to be around with. You always sang to me whenever I gave you your medicine. I will surely miss the smile and sweetness you showed to me.

My sincere condolences go out to Dick's Family. I sang with him in the Madison Maennerchor for 30 Years. My best memory was when we toured Germany in 1984 as a singing group for 14 days and i was his interpreter. We even sang 7 concerts over there.
