Ron was a classmate from grade school on. Always knew him but not close. In 1975 I was a single mom working as a waitress, trying to support four young children. Ron approached me about working at the insurance office on noon when he came in for lunch. A few days later one of my boys was seriously injured in an accident. I forgot all about Ron’s offer. In February I had taken another job just to have work. One night he called again and hired me. He made a big difference in my families well-being. I will always be grateful to him.

Fellow Veterans; Words cannot express, a debt that can not be paid, a cost we can not comprehend…a thank you that falls short…but honor you we must try, for all that have gone, are there and will go. We are honored by your service and commitment, your valor and sacrifice.

Ron took a chance on me 22 years ago & welcomed me into the insurance business & hired me on as an agent with Insurance Service Center. His sense of humor and sometimes off the wall jokes are what I remember most. His knowledge of the insurance industry helped to groom me into the successful agent and now owner of my own insurance agency today! Thanks for taking a chance on me, Ron. May you rest in peace.
